During the development of the Szélrózsa Guesthouse concept, our plan was to build a guesthouse where we would also enjoy going for a week or a long weekend to rest from the exhaustion of everyday life. Guests are not disturbed by any circumstances in their peaceful relaxation, as the entire guesthouse is rented out as a whole, so all the services of the guesthouse are exclusively at your disposal. At the same time, the time spent here can be filled with meaningful programs.
A fully equipped kitchen and a cauldron area serve the preparation of meals. You can obtain the ingredients for meals at the Lidl or Aldi located 7 km away. If guests do not wish to handle the dining themselves, there is an option for a buffet breakfast at the Barrico Hotel and the Piramis Restaurant. Guests can have lunch and dinner at the Piramis Restaurant as well. At the same time, home delivery of food can also be arranged.
Wellness services are also available at the guesthouse. The Finnish sauna and the Wellis jacuzzi serve the comfort of guests all year round. If guests would also like to take advantage of the benefits of thermal water, numerous nearby baths can be used. For families arriving with children, we recommend the Piramis Bath and Resort Park, while for our middle-aged and retired guests, the Barico Hotel could be the ideal choice, where wellness services are available with a day ticket. In addition to the above, numerous baths are at the disposal of the guests.
For those who love active tourism, 2 men's and 2 women's bicycles are available, but we can also provide children's bicycles free of charge upon request. You can reach Eger and Egerszalók via a bicycle path, but the Thermal Lake on the southern side of Demjén can also be a good destination. Numerous hiking trails are also located in the area. The very brave can try the recently inaugurated Via Ferrata, where various difficulty levels of routes are available for rock climbing lovers.
For wine lovers, numerous wineries in the area await guests. In the Szépasszony Valley, you can taste almost the entire selection of the Eger wine region.
Numerous historical sights are located in Eger, 7 km from the guesthouse.
